Givenchy Wedding
Tuesday, November 24th, 2009Baleros and jackets, for weddings, have risen in popularity over the last few seasons. These feathered and ruffled wedding accessories take it to a new level. Givenchy has reinterpreted the idea of a stylish bride. The trick to pulling these off is to keep the rest of your look tame: hair slicked back, dress simple, makeup classic. No boring brides here.
Wedding Dress Love
Friday, November 20th, 2009Elizabeth Dye posted this lovely dress. We feature her stuff a lot, but she just keeps making fabulously feminine wedding dresses and accessories that we have to. We look forward to her new line sheet! Don’t worry, we will share it with you. We thank you, Elizabeth Dye, and brides every where thank you.
Cymbeline Paris
Monday, March 16th, 2009
Just found this new-to-me bridal company, Cymbeline.  The company was founded over 30 years ago by three sisters. Their designs are feminine and luxurious , but still flirty and modern. They have a few fabulously modern wedding gowns that I thought were worth showing the world.

The ELIZA wedding
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008ELIZA Magazine’s Winter issue, out in December, includes some fabulous wedding fashions and the best bridal designers. As we searched for classic wedding dresses and timeless bridal trends to put in our marriage issue, we also uncovered a new wedding dress designer–a unique bridal headwear company, and a wedding location to die for. Here are three of those wedding finds to get you excited. Not an ELIZA Subscriber? Hurry, you are not going to want to miss it in the winter issue.¬†Subscribe here.
The Wedding Accessory
True Birds is an accessory line created by two twin sisters. They specialize in feathered headwear, but have recently tried their hands at bridal accessories. Check out “Wedding Bliss,” which is $68 or have them customize one for $115.
The Wedding Location
While shooting our winter fashion story, Cabin Fever, we discovered the most adorable bed and breakfast in Big Bear, California. If you are looking for a beautiful mountain landscape for your wedding, look no further. Alpenhorn is known for the charming decor, breathtaking surrounding, and homemade yummies. And now they can add: perfect wedding destination. Since they have started doing weddings on the premises they have gotten rave reviews. Probably because they help with all the extra details: linens for the gazebo, minister, music, beauty salon, couples massages, chocolate covered strawberries, etc.
The Wedding Dress Designers
A brand new designer has come to ELIZA Magazine’s attention. Alleanza (’to covenant’ in Italian) is a mother/daughter team¬†which designs fashionable and classy wedding gowns with exquisite French laces and other desirable fabrics. Look for the full article in our winter issue.

Modest Wedding Gowns
Thursday, December 27th, 2007Modest Wedding Dress Hunt
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007It is hard to find a modest wedding dress, even harder to find a stylish, modest wedding dress. We found these two options online. The first, from ZoriFashions.com, is reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer’s wedding. The second is designed by Tanya Benzaquen for Sultana, and has a haute couture feel. FunkyFrum.com  Both are an improvement from those cookie-cutter shapes found at most modest stores. For even more dresses subscribe to ELIZA and get our wedding supplement with our premier issue.
