Modesty Pays-Big time

Friday, December 1st, 2006

“Last year we did $4.6 million and this year we’re going to be doubling that,” said Chelsea Rippy, founder of Shade Clothing. Shade clothing, the leader in the Mormon modest tee market, has announced its “basic black” collection. The line includes eleven semi-formal dresses. The color palate offers mostly black but also silver, gold and navy. The styles are basic like their tees, but not boring. Rippy, also collaborated with her brother, a fellow designer, to offer four holiday tees under the label Brother for Sister. Looks like business is booming and we can’t wait to see what’s coming next. shadeclothing.com
