I like a lot of bright colors in the summer time, but as we start to change into fall I am drawn to more muted colors. I especially love the simplicity of Alberta Ferretti’s spring line. The pastels mixed with light beige brings an effortless summer chicness that every women is after.

I like this dress. It is simple, but regal. It would be really flattering on brides who have issues with their arms and hips. It brings the waist in and skims over those problem areas. Pretty.

I am obsessed with this Naeem Khan dress. Every season they show some of the best dresses to fall head over heels in love with. Some people say sparkles and gold should only be worn to red carpet events and premiers, those can be few and far between for us average people out there. If I owned this dress I would wear it everywhere: parties, benefits, church…grocery shopping.
How about you?

Bows are adorable. Bows are fun. Bows are feminine and bows are everywhere in the Cynthia Rowley line. This is an easy look to accomplish without a lot of money. Pick up some silk, or a ribbon and tie it around your neck. Done. You don’t have to have a fabulous dress like these, you could do it with a dress shirt or even a tee.

Layers can get old. It can looked forced and awkwardly modest. The way to bust out of the summer layering blues is to mix and match patterns. Anna Sui does the pattern on pattern look flawlessly. Take note and pull together that floral dress with a floral blouse under it, or a striped shirt with a patterned skirt. Have fun and your look will reflect it.

Color of the day, tan. I especially like tan/khaki/taupe/beige with a crisp white piece, whether it’s a white dress shirt, white sandles, white chunky accessories, white Ban.do hair flower, or white clutch.

These two looks are perfect for summer. I love Michael Kors and his fresh, classic take on summer staples. White dresses can be hard to pull off, but it is worth a try in this little number.
