Godiva For Me?

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

I usually don’t like the traditional Valentine’s gifts: red roses, a teddy bear or¬†a box of chocolate. How boring! However, there is¬†nothing to snore at with the new additions to the Godiva line — just in time for the holiday (funny how that works).

You could go with the Dark Chocolate Gift Box Set ($32): “Godiva’s dark chocolate pieces are legendary; embrace the moment as you let the intensity of the flavors slowly unfold” and dark chocolate is good for you, right?!

I have to try these and see how they stand up to the rest of the cupcake companies; your special someone might want to too. Not to mention the Godiva Limited Edition Pink Vanilla Buttercream Cupcakes ($28) have a surprising “¬†luscious center of Godiva chocolate ganache.” Mmmmmm.

Lastly, the Dark Chocolate Truffle Heart Biscuit Gift Pack is a a slim $8.50. You still get the punch of the Godiva name and quality, but less of a commitment. Pair it with some Cafe Godiva Coffees or yummy Hot Chocolates — so sophisticated.
